“Access Peddling”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Access peddling
unchecked presidential clemency
coming to a head
by threatening to pardon himself
while declining to comment
having shunned the process

“Outweighing”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán

Disqualified
inciting violence
egging on mobs

as a novice in Congress carries a Glock
for performance art to crash the Grand Old Party...
“Startled”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Startled
peering into deepening darkness
staring into a hidden distance
inexplicably steeped
in traumatic imbalance
breakfront cabinets stacked
with fragile bric-a-brac
and gimcrack whim-whams ...
“Full Camouflage SWAT”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Full camouflage SWAT spillover fallout
shields riot gear statehouses in lockdown
heightening security storming buildings
in the middle of a deadly viral winter
pistols on hips aiming at anarchy
unmasking a super spreading unreality ...
